Prince Charming
NEW LITTLE PERSON NEEDED
Hello, my name is Prince Charming.  I am of the finest Welsh Pony breeding; however, I do not have the papers to support my claim. The quality of my movement, superior confirmation and the beautiful chiseled features of my head clearly identify me as an impeccable equine of short stature, 12.1 hands to be exact. I have accomplished great feats in the show ring and rarely leave without the blue ribbon. I have won countless Championships and Year end awards in Oklahoma (GO Shows) and North Texas.  My best events being Walk/Trot over Poles and Crossrails.  I win most every Flat Class and have been the victor even over the biggest of moving Warmbloods. I am a shoe in as an Equitation mount and make even the loosest of riders look completely in control.

I also spend time teaching young riders the fundamentals of good horsemanship. I always stand quietly to be groomed, easily pick up my feet and HAVE NEVER offered to kick or show my teeth.  I have unselfishly taught countless little people to ride and have patiently tolerated uneducated hands, bouncing bodies and eased the fears of timid beginners. I will trot as slow or as fast as my rider wants and I rarely miss a lead.  Even though Ms Kim thinks I am a wonderful lesson pony she says I deserve a new little person of my very own.

I do have to mention I am not without a few flaws. I don’t always come up to my little person in the pasture, but am easily persuaded with a treat or a bucket of feed. Sometimes I forget myself when I see a bucket in the barn aisle, I have dragged whoever is attached to my lead just to see what is inside. Sometimes I test my rider to make sure their hands are up and they know how to steer, if not I will turn the other direction and walk away. I have never mastered that perplexing flying lead change and on occasion, if I think the fence is just too big for me to safely negotiate, I have been known to stop. I also hate my mane pulled and prefer you use a razor.

Last but not least, I make a great friend and playmate. At 11 years old, I have loads of experience. I have carried my person and a friend bareback safely through the trails. I have been decorated with finger paints, feathers, braids and ribbons. I have carried the craziest of costumes and was recently the Double Stuff of an Oreo cookie .

If you think you want me, please call Ms Kim. I know there will be many tears in my barn if I leave, but I am looking forward to a new adventure and my very own new little person.

Note from Ms Kim
Prince Charming has been part of our family since 2004. He was my daughter Alexandra's first show pony as well as her best friend. We thought long and hard on the decision to sell him and decided if the right "little person" came along we would let him go. Please contact us on all the details as well as  family albums full of pictures.
